The Wellington County OPP is investigating a serious collision that occurred on Highway 89 in Minto Township around 10:40 am Saturday morning.
Officers arrived along with local fire and paramedics to find it involved three motor vehicles; a minivan, SUV and sedan had collided.
Three adults were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. Two children were transported to trauma centres with life-threatening injuries.
Highway 89 will be closed from Wellington Road 2 to Pike Lake Road for several hours. They ask to avoid the area.
The Wellington County OPP continues to investigate the collision with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
