A petition has come forward to save the Lion Roy Grant Community Pool in Mount Forest.
This comes after a meeting last month in council where members voted to expedite the tendering process for demolition which had delegations speak during the meeting to save the pool.
Council has been in discussion on what to do with the pool since 2015 which in recent years has decided to have a new pool built instead.
