One person has been charged for fraud after investigation in Wellington North.
On June 21st 2024 at around 7:45am OPP received a report of fraud at a quarry business in Wellington North when the accused entered an agreement with the business to excavate and sell materials from the property and in return the business would get royalties.
It was said over 2023 and 2024 several truckloads of material were unaccounted for and royalties not received with the business losing more than $40,000.
A 64 year old of Bolton was charged with two counts of Fraud Over $5000 who will appear in Guelph court later this month.
