The Wellington County Museum and Archives is ramping up with their list of Halloween orientated events.
The Spirit Walks and Cemetery Tours are all just a few weeks away and while having its spooky element around it, the history is real and there is lots to learn. Kyle Smith, Activity Programmer for the Wellington County Museum and Archives explains the Spirit Walk is family fun with some great history to discover.
“Characters from the house history come back to life as actors and by lantern light we take people on a tour around the museum and they get a chance to meet some of these people. They tell their story which a lot of them are sad stories, every once and a while they are humorous stories.” said Smith
The Spirit Walks are entirely family friendly and not too much of a scare. The Cemetery Tours are more oriented around older audiences.
All information and tickets can be found on the Wellington County Museum and Archives website.
