The experience that tourists and visitors get when they travel to Wellington County is set for improvement after recently announced Federal Funding from the Economic Recovery Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
The organizations on the receiving end range from the Town of Minto with just over $65,000 for the Clifford Rotary Celebration Square, the Town of Erin for $122,000 for their upgrading of the Erin Fairgrounds electrical infrastructure and improvements to the Erin Fall Fair and Centre Wellington who are set to receive over $200,000 to build permanent accessible washrooms in Hoffer Park.
All projects from the grants need to be completed by December of this year.
