Students in the Upper Grand District and Wellington Catholic District School Boards will be sent home for Christmas break with rapid antigen screening kits.

This is in part of the provincial initiative announced last month to offer kits at no cost for students in publicly funded schools.

Participation in rapid testing over the break is voluntary and students will not be required to participate in order to return to the classroom after the break.

The province recommends students conduct a rapid test every three to four days over the break starting on December 23rd until all five tests have been used.
