The Wellington County Museum and Achieves is holding the 2nd annual Strawberry Festival on June 21st going from 12-4pm.
The festival helps celebrate tradition of deep historical significance.
Mike McGill, Museum Programming Assistant says in many Ontario farming communities, the strawberry harvest marked the beginning of summer bounty and was often the first major social gathering following the spring planting season.
The event helps celebrate local bounty with a slew of strawberry themed treats.
McGill adds this event promises to be a delicious day of entertainment and activities for the whole family.
