Students are training up for the 20th Anniversary of the Special Olympics Track and Field Day in Wellington County set to take place next month in Guelph.
Over 700 athletes of all ages and peer coaches from 60 schools compete in a series of track and field events.
Participants from both the Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board will compete done in partnership with Ontario Special Olympics, Community Living of Guelph/Wellington, Guelph Police and the City of Guelph.
Opening ceremonies begin at 10am on May 15th at St James Catholic High School with all welcome to attend.
