The Wellington County Museum Archives are mourning the loss of Commander Gordon Brown.
Brown was a longtime volunteers of the museum archives, spending his time teaching students about military history, donating family photos to the museum collection or helping with children activities.
Brown was a strong athlete, a former pick from the New York Rangers.
Brown also served in the Royal Canadian Navy, personally visiting every grave of a Wellington County solider who laid down their life in service to the country.
