Wellington County is kicking off a new grant programme this month to help boost tourism in the region.
The Wellington County Experience Development Programme is aimed to support tourism businesses and organizations in creating memorable, high quality visitor experiences which showcase the areas natural beauty, culinary offerings and rural charm.
The program offers grants of up to $3000 to help develop or boost market ready tourism experiences which strengthen Wellington’s position as a destination of choice in Ontario.
Warden Chris White says this program supports local businesses and organizations ready to deliver exceptional visitor experiences while growing the tourism economy across our communities.
Funding will be available for projects running between July 1st-March 15th 2026.
