Residents and visitors in Wellington County can now keep track of various picnic tables and food options across the area.
The County has launched an online picnic map which features parks, conservation areas and other spaces with outdoor seating. Over 125 areas across Wellington County can be found on the map. The picnic location maps has also been added to the online Takeout Food Map.
As a way to help encourage those getting takeout to consider eating at picnic table, 1000 picnic kits are being handed out at various restaurants in Wellington County. The kits include small picnic related gifts to help enjoy outdoor dining a bit more.
