Hospitals across Wellington County are receiving over $700,000 in funding as part of the province’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
North Wellington Health Care with locations in Palmerston and Mount Forest are receiving $560,930 while Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Centre Wellington will receive $150,000.
In a release, MPP Matthew Rae says the funding is essential for our hospitals to continue to provide the best care possible in rural communities.
The Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund has set aside over $7.6 million for community health service providers across the province.
