Wellington County announced today that 10 area students have been awarded scholarships and bursaries based on academic achievement, community involvement or financial need.
They were presented at this morning’s council meeting and saw Madison Rumph and Mandy deVries from Mapleton Township, Milana Perri and Tessey Frey from Wellington North, Gillian McVeigh from Erin and Hayley Watson from Centre Wellington among the students awarded.
Each received a $500 bursary & scholarship to use towards post-secondary school.
