Wellington County will set aside $460,000 over the next two years to help fund positions for the Integrated Youth Services Network of Wellington and Guelph.
Funding was made following statistics of youth mental health in the county, where suicide rates are slightly higher than the provincial average.
The Integrated Youth Services Network provides various thing such as education and career support, health care, counseling and peer support programs and recreational spaces.
