Residents in Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph who received their first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on or before May 9th will be eligible to book their 2nd shot regardless of age starting on Monday, June 14th.
This comes as the province is allowing certain health units who live in Delta hot spots to get fully vaccinated.
Health officials have expressed their concern over the new COVID-19 variant spreading in the region, prompting the provincial government to administer 2nd doses to those regions where the Delta variant is becoming a higher concern.
