Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has released guidelines for residents to enjoy the holidays in a safe manner.
Those returning home for the holidays such as students who haven’t already come home should avoid any gatherings prior to returning and limit their contact to only those in their household once back home.
Seeing loved ones is still possible during this time but alternate options should be taken such as gathering virtually. By Christmas Eve all regions in Ontario will enter grey on the COVID-19 framework and travelling between cities and regions is not recommended.
If you intend to travel between regions you must follow procedures and limit your contact with those around you to avoid the spread between different communities.
