Wayne Long Retiring as President of the Listowel Cyclones

The Listowel Cyclones have announced Wayne Long will be retiring as President of the club after 18 years.

Wayne first started with the Cyclones as an executive member where he eventually grew to general manager and then President. During his service the Cyclones secured their 2nd Cherrey Cup and the first Sutherland Cup.

Coming in to take over will be Greg McNevan.

Greg grew up in the Harriston area and played Junior C hockey in Brussels and 10 years of senior hockey in Palmerston.

Trent McClement will take over the position of General Manager who has played junior hockey with the Cyclones and with the Mount Forest Patroits.

Jesse Cole will stay as Head Coach for the team and Randy Petrie will also remain as the Head of Hockey Operations.

The Cyclones are giving their best wishes to Wayne Long and wish him and his family the best.
