Volunteers are in need to help lead community walks as part of the Jane’s Walk Festival this spring.
Coordinated by the Huron Cultural Office, this years walk will take place in communities across Huron County on May 2nd-4th.
Jane’s Walk is named after renowned urbanist Jane Jacobs and is a movement organizing free, citizen led walking tours and offer insight into the hearts of neighbourhoods, highlighting stories, history and issues.
Allie Brenner, Huron County Cultural Development Officer says anyone can lead a Jane’s Walk with all needed is a love for community and a willingness to share local stories.
