The United Way of Perth-Huron Kicked off it’s annual fundraising efforts today using some old school methods and some new technology.
The goal this year, that they are calling ambitious, is $1.762 million dollars.
The announcement was made of their Facebook page by Co-chairs Martin and Kathryn Ritsma, and Executive Director Ryan Erb.
They pointed out last years campaign helped 39,000 people in the community and this years need is even greater because of the effects of COVID-19.
There are currently 18 partners with the UWPH, and they plan on continuing to assist each and every one.
