Those looking at planting trees next spring can get some help from the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.
The Private Lands Program with the conservation authority is providing a boost to help residents get their projects up and running with two different ways to participate.
Landowners are able to order trees online and pick them up come spring and plant it themselves.
Expert forestry staff are also available to visit your property and help design the project and return in the spring to plant the trees.
In many cases, grants are available and save up to 80 per cent off project costs.
