US Health Officials recommend pausing use of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

Canada has approved J&J vaccine but haven't received any doses

News out of the US has Health Officials there recommending a pause in administering the single dose Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine to investigate reports of potentially dangerous blood clots.

More than 6.8 million doses of the J&J vaccine have been administered in the US with most people only have no or mild side effects.

But the Centre for Disease Control and the FDA released a joint statement saying they are investigating unusual clots in 6 women that occurred 6 to 13 days after vaccination.

The single dose vaccine has been approved for use in Canada but we haven’t as of yet received any doses.
