Rush Limbaugh, the person who became a media icon for the US Conservative movement who for decades used his platform as king of talk-radio to shape the politics of both the Republican Party and the Nation of the time died today. He was 70 years.
He announced in February of lsat year that he had been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. He continued to host his show while undergoing cancer treatment and had hoped he would defeat the disease.
He had been on the radio for 32 years.
