The University of Guelph recently wrapped up their survey asking Huron and Perth County residents how they’ve been dealing with the ongoing pandemic.
The survey results showed much, mainly the effect on residents mental health. Assistant Professor at the University of Guelph, Leith Deacon says just how large of a drop mental health has been.
“68% of female respondents indicated their mental health was well or excellent before the pandemic. If we ask the same question after March 1st, since the start of the pandemic the number dropped by 37%.” said Deacon.
Roughly 2000 residents for Huron County responded to the survey, around 1600 from Perth.
