United Way Perth Huron is helping tell local stories which shines a light on the local housing crisis.
The report dubbed Our Stories of the Housing Crisis looks over 700 survey responses from Perth-Huron and lays out major trends.
Rising housing costs have left residents stuck in inappropriate housing and forcing those to cut back on essentials like groceries, and downgrade financial and psychological well being.
In the words of one in West Perth ‘it is real people behind all the cries for help.’
