United Way Perth Huron’s Social Research & Planning Council has released the final two parts of the 2023 Quality of Life series.
Dubbed A Health Well-Being describes how physical and mental health and social environment affect our quality of life.
For youth, technology has become a key piece in their quality life and while acting as a source for information, 94 per cent of youth exceed the recommended recreational screen time which can impact sleep, physical activity and anxiety levels.
People across multiple age groups have reported a strong sense of belonging with 46 per cent in Perth and 43 in Huron County taking part in some form of volunteering once per week.
The full quality of life report is available from United Way’s website.
