United Way Perth-Huron is launching their New Initiative Grants which will open on October 18th.
The grant is to help deliver the best services to the community and help organizations tackle local issues they want to be addressed.
In a release United Way Director of Governance and Community Impact Megan Partidge says the grant is a way to respond to emerging needs, test service models, support smaller projects and help pilot new ones.
The New Initiative Grants provides up to $20,000 for one year for projects developed by registered Canadian charities, incorporated not-for-profits which are planning to or already deliver social and community services in Perth and/or Huron.
Submissions will be open until November 5th and can be done from United Way Perth Huron’s website.
