United Way Perth-Huron Continues to Show Love for Continued Donors

Goal of $1.92 million reached with the help of Leader Match donors

United Way Perth-Huron announced earlier last month they had passed their goal of $1.92 million and a big reason for it was their Leader Match donors which United Way has shown their appreciation for.

A Leader Match donor is one who donates $6000 or more to inspire others to give at the Leadership level of $100 per month.

Burnbrae Farms was among of them who have supported United-Way in such a way for the second time in three years.

“We appreciate Burnbrae’s commitment to UWPH,” said UWPH Campaign Co-chair Martin Ritsma.

“Egg farmers across Perth and Huron have their eggs processed through Burnbrae Farms, so it’s great having them on board. Their donation sends a signal to other businesses in the agricultural sector that UWPH is a great way to give back and support the most vulnerable.”

United Way Perth-Huron set their goal this year to tackle #UnignorableIssues such as homelessness, hunger and mental health.
