United-Way Perth Huron has announced the creation of the Community Renewal Company.
The CRC is branched on two focuses for the area which includes support the development of affordable housing and connecting people in need to social services.
The decision to form the Community Renewal Company has been a decision 18 months in the making.
Among some of the work the organization is focused on is supporting projects in the community such as in North Perth to develop a social services hub which would include 40 affordable rental units linked with the municipality’s library system.
