Uniformed Mapleton Firefighters are making their rounds throughout the next few weeks, visiting residents to ensure they are safe in their homes.
Firefighters are heading door to door making sure the correct number of working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are in the home.
Residents are reminded to never let anyone inside their home without proper identification and are reminded they can request to see the firefighters badges.
