The region locally continues to be among the lowest for unemployment across Ontario.
The Four County Labour Market Planning Board report says the unemployment rate in the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region dropped half a point in July to 3.8 per cent.
While education saw the largest loss, there was large gains seen in healthcare, social assistance as well as in the services producing sector.
The Stratford-Bruce Peninsula has remained as the lowest rate of unemployment across the province in many unemployment rate updates.
