Unemployment across the region has dropped slightly in the last month according to the Four County Labour Market Planning Board.
March’s numbers showed a decrease by 0.6 percentage points to 5.4 per cent.
The overall population grew by 300 but the labour force size decreased by 3200 people.
The goods producing sector dropped slightly by 0.2 per cent in March with the biggest drop being in construction at 7.7 per cent.
The biggest gains were seen in finance, insurance, real estate, rental and leasing at 26.6 per cent.
