The North Perth Fire Department says once again unnecessary calls are taking away from the necessary tasks.
On Monday night, the fire department responded to an unauthorized burn in a rural area and upon arrival found two fires.
Both were said to be too close to the property line, were unsupervised with no means of extinguishment.
The property owner will now be invoiced as per violations of the municipalities Open Air Burn by-law.
Crews were meant to be preforming hose testing Monday night.
