Those without doctors will now be able to access a new primary care clinic.

The Huron Perth Ontario Health Team and local Family Health Teams have launched their Unattached Care Clinic.

The new launch is backed by support from the province with a $822,604 investment given earlier this year.

“Our government launched the first ever expansion in inter-primary care teams since their inception. We are committed to ensuring everyone in Ontario has access to primary care close to home,” said MPP Matthew Rae. “I will continue to advocate for more investments in our public healthcare system that positively impact our rural communities.”

This new launch will allow those who don’t have a doctor to now have access to primary health care.

The investment comes from a larger province wide investment of $110 million, connecting 328,000 people to primary care.
