It’s the end of snow days as we know it in schools.
The Upper Grand and Wellington Catholic District School, Board have announced inclement weather protocols for the winter saying schools will remain open even if buses are canceled.
Schools opted last year to have students log in for remote learning in the event of a snow day.
In a release, the UGDSB wrote in the event of school bus cancellations schools will stay open with the exception of Centre Peel Public School and Kenilworth Public School bus routes.
The board notes it will fall onto parents to make the final decision if its safe or not to get their child to school under weather conditions in the event buses are canceled.
