One person is dead following a collision between a transport truck and an SUV in Centre Wellington on Wednesday afternoon.
OPP responded alongside emergency crews to the crash at Wellington Road 17 and 8th Line West near Alma at around 3pm with the driver of the SUV pronounced deceased at the scene.
This collision marks the 2nd fatal one on Wellington County roads in just three hours with another reported in Puslinch yesterday.
Wellington Road 17 was closed for several hours from Wellington Road 8 to Floradale Road.
