Two Seniors Charged with Traffic Violations that Resulted in Vehicle Collisions in Perth County

The first saw a 90 year old driver rear end a car waiting to make a turn in West Perth and the second involved a 74 year old fail to yield to traffic in Perth East.

Perth County OPP have charged two seniors with traffic violations after separate incidents on April 27th and 28th resulted in collisions.

The first was around 8am on April 27th when officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Perth Line 34 in West Perth. The accused rear ended another vehicle while it was stopped to make a turn. Minor injuries reported with the 90 year old Kitchener resident charged with careless driving.

The second incident was the next day just after 2pm when police responded to Road 129 and Line 67 in Perth East. The accused 74 year old resident of Milverton was charged with failing to yield to traffic and issued a Provincial Offence notice. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
