Two residents in Grey County are facing a slew of charges after 11 loaded firearms were taken during a traffic stop in Guelph on Friday.
Police attempted to stop a car with an improper muffler on Friday morning but the vehicle had sped away. It was later spotted at a plaza in Guelph and several units responded to pin the vehicle in.
Officers seized a loaded sawed-off shot gun by the driver’s side seat. More guns were found in the trunk as well as a quantity of substances.
A 30 year old Grey County resident has been charged with dangerous operation, flight from police and more than 60 firearms and prohibited weapons charges.
A 32 year old Grey County resident has been charged with 23 firearms and prohibited weapons charges.
