Two Faces Charges of Obstructing Officer in North Perth

Two people are facing charges after obstructing a peace officer following a minor collision in North Perth.

On February 15th just before 5pm, Perth County OPP were investigating a collision involving a tractor in a ditch on Line 57 in North Perth.

The tractor was removed but it was determined the driver had given the officer a false name and fled the scene.

A second person attempted to block the officer with heavy equipment.

A 21 year old Huron East resident and 18 year old from North Perth face obstructing a peace officer charges.

Both will appear in court at a later date.
