Ice roads caused one collision after another in North Perth last Friday. Just before 3pm Perth County OPP, Paramedics and Fire Department responded to a serious head-on collision on Perth Line 86 west of Road 169.

Two vehicles driving in opposing directions collided causing severe damage to the vehicles and injuring two people.

They were both transported to hospital in non-life-threatening injuries.

Prior to policing arriving on scene, a second collision occurred just east of the first, after one stopped and was rear-ended.

Police would like to advise drivers to slow down, look ahead and be aware of upcoming intersections, vehicles and dangers.

Adjust driving habits to the current road and weather conditions and leave extra space between vehicles and extra time in your travel to the destination.
