The Wellington County OPP have charged two residents of Clifford with multiple charges after a traffic stop in Fergus yesterday just before midnight.
Officers were conducting a traffic stop on a red sedan on Queen Street East and found the 44 year old female driver was driving while prohibited, had taken the motor vehicle without consent and was driving while suspended.
The 58 year old female passenger was charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance.
The vehicle was impounded for 45 days and both are scheduled to appear at a future date at a Guelph court.
