Trinity Bible Chapel Fined

Church has remained open for in person service despite current lockdown orders

 

Trinity Bible Chapel in Woolwich, a church which has defied lockdown and stay-at-home orders has been given 9 charges for violating the Reopening Ontario Act.

Six elders and the Pastor himself were all charged for hosting a gathering exceeding the number of people permitted. The church has remained open for Sunday service and is drawing in crowds from other areas, including a Kingston MPP.

For those facing fines, the penalty can ride anywhere from $10,000-100,000.
