One person is facing criminal charges after a traffic stop in North Perth on April 29th just after 11pm.
The Perth County OPP were conducting general patrols in the area of Wallace avenue North in Listowel when an officer observed a vehicle contravening the Highway Traffic Act.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be prohibited from driving.
A 27 year old male of Huron-Kinloss was arrested and charged with operation while prohibited under the criminal code.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
