The Town of Minto has purchased the property at 212 Main Street West in Palmerston to support building attainable/affordable housing in the community.
The building includes 7 residential apartments and 3 commercial spaces and is funded through the Wellington County Housing Development Fund and supports councils commitment to exploring housing options for those at different stages of their life.
Mayor Dave Turton says attainable/affordable housing is an important part of the future of Minto and this project will help provide housing options for residents while also supporting a vibrant downtown Palmerston.
