The Town of Minto Council has joined the call for the lifting of the ban of the playing of golf and other outdoor activities.
They endorsed the resolution from the City of Brampton on Tuesday.
The resolution calls on the Ontario government to modify current restrictions to remove the banning on golfing and any other outdoor recreational activities which can be performed while following proper social distancing.
Courses were shuttered and the participation in outdoor recreational activities and facilities when the new health restrictions were introduced on April 16th by the Provincial Government on the guidance of their Health Experts.
The endorsement motion was passed unanimously.
