The Town of Minto’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee hosted their first event in the Diversity Learning Series, Cultural Connections.
The town sent thanks to everyone who attended the event.
They added they loved seeing everyone come together to celebrate their differences, share stories and open their hears and minds to the richness of diversity.
Minto sent a special thank you to the County of Wellington Settlement Services representative Ekram Al Momani for presenting on the kindness of islam and Ahmad Almohamad and his family for sharing personal stories, lessons, education pieces and delicious snacks.
The next in the Diversity Learning Series is in February to celebrate Black Heritage month.
