The Town of Erin is adopting innovative technology to streamline applications making the building and planning process simpler.
Erin is adopting Cloudpermit, a web based platform which allows residents to file applications for building and planning permits, receive updates on the status of their application and book building inspections.
The town has been using the program since 2022 for building permits but now is accepting planning applications from the site.
Joe Forte, Erin’s Chief Building Official says Cloudpermit automates the process of applying, reviewing, issuing permits and approving the planning processes.
