Today, February 8th is Safer Internet Day.
The day has been recognized across the globe for 19 years for us all to join together to make the internet a safer and better place especially for children and young people.
The Canadian Centre for Children Protection urged parents today and every day to do regular check ins with their children about what they are doing, seeing and experiencing online.
The group has even created a check-in checklist that offer concrete examples of age appropriate questions to ask as well as what to do and what to say when they respond.
