Helping celebrate the anniversary of the new hospital, the Groves Hospital & Foundation held a ceremony to mark five years since they moved to the new hospital in 2020.
The celebration was marked with the opening of a time capsule which was found during the demolition of the old hospital in Fergus, found in the walls in the original 1954 wing.
The time capsule included an old newspaper from the Fergus News Record as well as a letter which noted the date of when the time capsule was put in place in 1954.
The celebration also included a gratitude wall where staff shared memories, appreciation and messages of thanks from the past 5 years.
