There is great news for area Tesla owners.
The company is planning to open a service centre in London and save area drivers their usual trip to Kitchener for service and maintenance.
The home will be a former Porsche dealership on Oxford Street West in London near Wonderland Road.
London is part of an aggressive expansion by the California automaker that will see the opening of more dealerships amid growing sales.
There is currently no timeline on the project in London.
Tesla sold 180,000 hybrids in the fourth quarter of last year… up from 139,000 the quarter before.
