Tenants in Lucknow were asked to vacate an apartment building on Sunday afternoon due to a police incident.
At around 12:15pm both Huron County and South Bruce OPP responded to a property on Walter Street for a person who had barricaded themselves.
At around 5:35pm, OPP alongside some specialized units including the OPP Emergency Response Team were able to arrest an adult male without incident.
Residents have since been allowed back into the apartment building.
The accused has been held in custody and is facing a criminal charge.
